Cashew nut cream

Welcome to Way To Zero Waste, in today's post we bring you a super easy to make recipe along with a star dish so you can surprise your loved ones.

Nuts are an essential ingredient, as they contain a lot of unsaturated fats, proteins, calcium, etc. But the vast majority of people do not usually introduce this food in their diets or in low quantities.

We bring you a phenomenal recipe so that you can introduce a little bit more nuts in your daily life.

We will talk about cashew nuts, they are a great source of carbohydrates, fibre, protein, fats, magnesium and copper. The amount of fat in cashew nuts is optimal for controlling cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart disease. The effect of its fibre and antioxidants further reduces it.

Cashew nuts are an abundant source of magnesium, a mineral that forms part of the bones and through a balancing mechanism with calcium, contributes to relaxation and the good condition of the nervous system and muscles. Magnesium is as necessary for bone strength as calcium.

Cashew nuts in the kitchen

There are many ways to introduce cashew nuts in our dishes, we love cashew cream and we use it a lot when making sandwiches, that is why we leave you our two favourite sandwiches so that you can try it at home and enjoy it as much as we do.

To make the cashew cream you will only need a bowl to soak the cashew nuts (approx. 3 hours) and then a blender to obtain the desired homogeneous mass of the cream.
